I have known Helene and Jimmy Pikul for over 25 years. They are a loving couple, devoted to each other and to their children Brian and Melissa (Nikki) and granddaughter Cami. We’ve been to Christmas parties at their home, and we had a wonderful, memorable dinner on our patio several years ago. Helene and Jimmy arrived in a snazzy sports car, Jimmy looking quite dapper and Helene glowing! We had so much fun; Jimmy had a great sense of humor, and he loved to gently tease Helene and others. I know Jimmy was a talented athlete...formidable on the golf course, and he passed his love of golf on to Helene and Brian, instructing them in the game. Jimmy also played hockey and Brian grew to love that sport as well. Helene would often tell us stories about Jimmy and Brian’s “adventures” on the golf course or playing hockey. Jimmy was proud that Brian and Melissa went to college and Melissa continued her education beyond that. I know he loved his little granddaughter Cami, and she brought a new happiness to him. It’s been a great joy in my life to know and love Helene and Jimmy as dear friends, and we will miss him always. Our hearts go out to his family...how lucky we all were to know and love Jimmy.
