We’ll miss Teresa so much! For nearly 45 years, from season to season, we watched as our own families grew up and left home; we watched the maple trees we planted from seed eventually grow taller than our roof-tops, and we waved hello to new families in our community who began to replace the “homesteaders” as time went by. Teresa loved the land, and we’ll always connect her to her garden. We shared summers attempting to grow fruit trees and outwit the wildlife as to where vegetables might be hiding. The wildlife consistently won and every year we stubbornly tried again, creating a ritual for decades that was frustrating and fun at the same time. We came to know many of our daily and nightly “visitors” by their individual personalities. Teresa’s favorite was a red fox, who bypassed our yard to poke around her bird feeders. Years of moments like these created memories for both our families. We were privileged to share so many years with Teresa and Charles as neighbors and friends. Our deepest condolences to everyone in the family; our thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this difficult time.
