Uncle Bill met the world to me and my family. He was my Mom's (Barbara Schmidt DeLaMoreaux, deceased) "Baby brother." We grew up having picnics and spending holidays and family milestones with Uncle Bill and his family. In later years we often joined him in Lake Havasu where they liked to spend winters. His passing leaves a big void in our hearts. Prayers go out to my cousins Bill and Bob and their families. Love, Diane

My sincere sympathy to all the Schmidt family on the loss of Husband, father, and great grandfather. I have been privileged to know Mr. Schmidt since the marriage of Bob and Nancy. He was a family man who adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be missed by so many. I offer my prayers to all of you.

I lost track of my Uncle Bill and Aunt Marilyn after my Dad and Bill's brother Joe and my Mom broke up long ago. My Dad passed at 80, alone and not having talked to any of the family. My memories of Uncle Bill? A very kind, intelligent man with a good sense of humor. I wish I'd have known him in his later years. Condolences to the family, Joe Schmidt Jr
