Barb and I will never forget the first time we saw Ed and Mary. We were ready to move. They were standing in front of the house that was being built next to ours and were arguing for all the world to hear about the progress, or lack there of. Had we any idea at the time this was merely the way they resolved their differences we would have been much relieved. We laughed about the incident for many years. Had anyone told us at at that moment that for the next 25 years they would become some of our dearest friends, becoming as close as people can without actually being family we obviously would have told them they were nuts. Ed and Mary, we miss you both as well as the good times we enjoyed together. Love Barb and Bob

Ed was a wonderful, down to earth...and very kind man. In his visits through Tennessee he would come for the day and we would share lovely conversations about life, faith and our children. Each Christmas, his cards was one of the first. I came to love him as a brother .....I'll miss you, Ed......thanks for the memories. Roberta
