I am so sorry to hear this. I worked with Jan at Marriott in Ft. Lauderdale. She was a great person and fun to work with. My greatest memories are decorating the Marriott for Christmas. So sad and sorry to hear this. My condolences to the family and friends.RIP Jan.

Michael, Nicole and Addox,
I am very sorry in the death of Janice. It was a pleasure knowing her, and I enjoyed the few conversations we had. She was always pleasant and easy to talk with. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Remembering Jan and the laughs we shared at the Marriott. She always wanted to move back to Illinois and share time with her friends there. I am happy she was able to do that. Rest in peace, Jan

Jan was Friend and I LOVED Her Dearly……I remember in the Spring of 2021 Jan and I were having a conversation and we both were trying to decide on what was next for us both. Our lives had drastically changed from what we were use to and we both were in unfamiliar territory…….We had to adjust to our new Normal and we had to make some decisions……I told Jan WE are Going To Trust God No Matter What The Outcome…..After our conversation I went to the book store and got Jan a coloring book and some colored pencils and I Mailed it to her as I Felt In My Heart We Both just needed to remember a time when things were SIMPLE and we had no cares to worry about and, just for a few MOMENTS let’s just be a Kid again and COLOR in our coloring books….Once Jan received her package this is the message she texted me……FORWARD FROM JAN….. My dear Ms. Felicia ... just opened my door & found a package. You are a very, very special lady with a spirituality that makes you unique in so many ways. I've already used my pencils to color in some lovely butterflies. It was so calming ... something I truly need at this time in my life.
Many hug….Jan BELIEVED In Me…. I Shared with Her A LOT about My LIFE, My Dreams, Goals, and My Vision she always said my Life was so Exciting To Her(LOL) I don’t know why…BUT This Beautiful Lady, This Amazing Person BELIEVED IN ME and SUPPORTED ME 100% and I Will FOREVER be GRATEFUL That God Allowed Our Paths To Cross and Our Hearts To Be Knitted TOGETHER…..My Heart Is Extremely HEAVY and My Condolences To Her Family and Friends….Praying For God To Wrap His Loving around you to Comfort You and give You Peace….With ALL My Love FELICIA MOORE co-worker.

Jan and I would have lunch together everyday when we worked at the Marriott. We would walk on weekends unless it was too hot. If it was too hot she tended to wine. So we would cut our walks short and go have a wine together in a nice cool place.
Jan was a good listener and helped me through some hard times. I tried to help her when it came to choosing a new car or new hairstyle. She was very picky. I think her Prious was the car she actually wanted all along. As far as haircuts, she was never happy. She would have it styled and then come home and wash it all out.
Jan did not care to have her picture taken, but she loved babies so I was able to get a great shot of her with my granddaughter a few years back.
Jan was looking to move back to Florida to get out of the cold Illinois winter. She actually bid on 2 places, but the deals fell through. I guess that was meant to be. I was looking forward to walking and wineing together again. I will truly miss her. Rest in peace my friend.
