Obituary of Anne T. Goetz

Anne T. Goetz, 89, of Libertyville, passed away peacefully Oct. 31, 2022. Anne was born in Chicago and was proud of her Chicago heritage. She was an accomplished professional and made a name for herself in the different investment brokerage firms of Chicago specializing in managing payroll by hand. She absorbed the knowledge of her fellow financial executives and became a great personal investor. She loved tracking the markets and was up to date on all the different Barron’s news. She enjoyed seeing the world and treasured her many trips. She was fiercely independent and there wasn’t anything she couldn’t do or figure out herself. She loved being close to her extended family and built close bonds with her nieces and was a doting great-Aunt to her great-niece and great-nephews.  She was deeply religious and cherished her close relationship with Fr. Val at Story Point.

Anne is survived by her loving brother Jerry (the late Pat); her cherished nieces Loralie (Steve) Sweeney, Sheri (Tony) Vitaioli, and Amy Goetz; and her dearest great-nephews Brett and Adam and great-niece Emily. 

Funeral Mass for Anne will be 10:00 am on Saturday, Nov. 5 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E Maple Ave, Libertyville, where there will be a visitation at the church 30 minutes prior to Mass.
