Edward “Ted” Svete, 75, US Army, longtime Libertyville resident, passed away June 23, 2020. Ted had a 30+ year career as the barber at the Navy Exchange in Great Lakes, IL. Ted was a true outdoorsman; his favorite trips were going north to Canada for fishing and hunting. He loved caring for his many dogs and was a regular at the Liberty Restaurant.
He was survived by his sister Mary Ellen Huston.
Funeral services for Ted with military honors will be held at 11:00 am on Friday Sept 30th at Ascension Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Rd, Libertyville. Funeral arrangements by McMurrough Funeral Chapel (847) 362-2626. Please sign his guestbook at libertyvillefuneralhome.com
