Obituary of Pat E Schulz

Pat E Schulz, 81, of Lake Forest, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2022. Pat was born in Chicago to Patrick and Maude Coyne. Pat worked at the Saint Vincent De Paul Orphanage and had a lifelong love for animals and children. Pat later went on to become a professional dog trainer for over 52 years. In her free time, she enjoyed performing in shows with her own dogs. She accomplished 11 AKC OTCH’s with multiple breeds. Her greatest accomplishment was with her favorite dog “Smasher” obtaining multiple best in shows and a triple champion title. A feat that has never been repeated. Pat had an amazing talent with dogs that she passed along to her daughter Maureen. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be dearly missed.

Pat is survived by her loving husband Horst of 52 years; her dearest daughter Maureen; her cherished grandson Trevor Tobias and granddaughter Jessica Inman and her adoring brother John Coyne.

Visitation for Pat will be from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 11th at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville with funeral services to follow at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to Boystown.org, 14100 Crawford St., Boys Town, NE 68010 would be greatly appreciated.
