Obituary of Richard Carl Baenziger

Richard Carl Baenziger, 87, of Long Grove passed away peacefully at his home on July 5, 2022. Beloved husband of Sandy (Mills) Baenziger for 60 years; loving father of Vicki (Andy) Perille, Mark (Kerry) Baenziger, Lisa (Dan) Wargo.  Proud grandfather of Steven, Brian, Danny, Fiona, Quinn, Kiara, Matthew (Georgie), Mason, Jacob, and Jessica; Uncle of William, Nancy and Clayton.  Preceded in death by his parents Mathias and Mabel Baenziger, brothers Robert and Raymond. 

Graduate of Amundsen High School.  Dick spent his career as a tool and die maker/designer working at Portage Tool, National Laminations and Tempel Steel.  Hobbies included:   model railroading, auto restoration, home repairs, gardening and cruising.
