Obituary of Dolores Schultz
Dolores Schultz, 90, a longtime Libertyville resident, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2022. Dolores was an active member of the St. Joseph Parish, serving as a reader, liturgy coordinator, Eucharistic minister, and CCD Sunday school teacher. She was an active volunteer for the Lake County Extension Foundation, a longtime election judge, and a proud Lady Elk of Des Plaines Elk's Club. She enjoyed spending time with friends playing cards, taking casino trips, and bowling with her husband, the late Wilbur. She was the true matriarch of the family and will be dearly missed.
Dolores is survived by her loving children Susan (the late Kevin) Gleason and Greg (Laura) Schultz; and her adoring grandchildren Erin Gleason, Keri (Lucas) McGovern, Caleb Schultz, Monica Schultz, Danielle (Taylor) Givens, Dominic Schultz, and David Schultz. She is preceded in death by her adoring husband Wilbur of 60 years of marriage and her cherished sister Alice Marcy.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am Monday, January 24th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E Maple Ave, Libertyville. Interment at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. Visitation Sunday, January 23rd from 2:00-6:00 pm at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville.
