Van Brakel, Robert Arthur 61, U.S. Navy veteran died August 2, 2013 in Hines Veterans Hospital. Robert was born in Chicago and was a former long-time resident of North Chicago, IL.
He is survived by his sisters, Barbara (Dennis) Johnson, Robin (David) Pokorny and Rebecca Benes. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bari and his parents, Robert and June Van Brakel and his sisters, Bonita A. Conrad and Marlene M. Page.
Funeral services will be 12 Noon Thursday August 8, 2013 at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville where there will be visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Interment with full Military Honors will follow at Wood National Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI.
