James Christopher Harris, 48, of Libertyville, died peacefully at his home August 3, 2021. Chris was born in Louisville, Kentucky, lived briefly in Hamden, Connecticut and later moved to Libertyville where he graduated from Libertyville High School, attended Lake County College, and graduated from Illinois State University. Chris is survived by his father James, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother Jason and his mother Ozella (Long).

Funeral Service will be at 11:30AM Monday August 9, 2021, with visitation one hour prior at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville. Interment Ascension Catholic Cemetery.
