Obituary of Dean Elliott

Dean Elliott, 82, US Army, formerly of Northbrook, passed away peacefully July 7, 2021. Dean was a proud Marquette graduate and lifelong Green Bay Packer fan. Dean had a long career in Chicago commercial real estate. He proudly served as President of the Jaycees and the Northbrook Hockey League. He absolutely loved watching his kids' and grandkids' many sporting events and performances. Dean had a passion for sports and played softball well into his 60’s. There was nothing he looked forward to more than deer hunting on the family farm in Richland Center, WI.

Dean is survived by his cherished wife Ann of 57 years; his loving children Jackie (Peter) Langas, Tom, Greg and Tony (Stacey); his cherished grandchildren Ameila, Isabel and PJ Langas & Katie and Sarah & Tyler & Chris, Brendan and Kate; his dearest brothers Jude (Cindy) and Pat (Donna) and many nieces and nephews.  

Funeral Mass will be held Wed. July 14 at 10:30am at St. Joseph Church, 121 E Maple Ave, Libertyville with a visitation held at the church one-hour prior to Mass. Entombment at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Rustic Falls Nature Camp, in Burlington, WI (online at rusticfalls.org or checks can be mailed to 8044 Karlov, Skokie, IL 60076).
