Dear Aunt Ruth,
You were such a wonderful gift to our family. You were always there for every Birthday, Christmas, Graduation, Confirmation, etc. as we grew up. We all loved and adored you so much.
I promise you, we will watch over and take care of Patti, during her time of grief and sorrow. She is and will always be our "Little Sis".
Please give many hugs and kisses to our mom and dad.
We love you and miss you very much!!!

To my dearest Aunt Ruth,
I feel truly blessed to have been with you as you took your last breath. I feel that God put me in this place to be there for you and your beloved daughter Patti, as I was not able to be there to do the same for my parents.
You were so precious to our Nelson family and will be very missed.
Until we meet again, God speed!
I love and miss you very much!

My dearest mother; the most nurturing and loving person.
I miss you immensely and life already appears differently without you in it. It brings me comfort knowing that you are no longer ailing, and you are with the Lord and loved ones that have passed before you.
I admire you, your strength, perseverance, ambition and kindness. What a great example of a human being you were. It was an honor and privilege to provide care for you these past few years. I hope I continue to make you proud as your daughter, and that I am half the woman you were.
Bye, bye for now. I look forward to the day we meet again.
Love and miss you!
Patti

Ruth will be missed! I loved sharing nursing war stories with her. She always had a smile for me whether at church or when she was sick in the hospital. I am blessed to have known this remarkable woman. Jenny Prescia
