Obituary of Barbara Joy Oleno

Barbara Joy Oleno, 87 passed away June 20, 2019 at her home in Libertyville, Illinois.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday June 25, 2019 in Northwood Cemetery in Cambridge, Ohio.

Sister to Shirley Defolco of Cambridge, Ohio and survived by her son Steven Charles Oleno, Daughter-in-Law Maria Angelica Oleno and grandson Nicholas Charles Oleno.

Barbara was married to Peter Chester Oleno, of Ohio, who proudly served in the 1^st Marine Division of the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.

Barbara began her life as a switchboard operator for the local telephone company in Ohio, eventually working at the Hollywood Boulevard switching station in Hollywood, California.

Barbara took on many challenges in her life most notably dedicating 27 years of her life to helping those who were mentally challenged at the Lambs Farm in Libertyville, Illinois.

Her loving family wishes her safe passage to the hereafter with Gods speed.
