Obituary of Douglas Walter Wright

Douglas Walter Wright "Uncle Dougie" passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 24th, 2019 in Milwaukee, WI. He just turned 63 years old.

Doug was born on February 20, 1956 in Libertyville, IL. to Phyllis Gauger and Douglas Wright.

He grew up most of his life in Libertyville, IL but was quite the wanderer and lived many places in his life ending up in Burlington, WI.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, who was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Doug was a gentle soul with a tender heart and he truly lived his life on his own terms with no apologies. Doug was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed riding Harley's spending time with his family and friends, cooking and playing golf.

Doug is survived by his children Jon Wright and Jessica Lynch; his son-in-law Bryan Lynch; grandson's Hunter and Ryder Lynch; his sister and brother-in-law Karol and Gerry Marquette; his sister-in-law Cyndi Wright; and 11 nieces and nephews, Darrell, Zack, Kelly, Eric, Mike, Maddie, Ethan, Devyn, Fisher, Madi, and Riley. He is preceded in death by his mother Phyllis Stahl; stepfather Willard Stahl; father Douglas Wright and brother Dan Wright.

Memorial services will be 7 PM Monday March 4th at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl (Rt 176, 1 Blk East of Milwaukee Ave) Libertyville where the family will receive friends from 6PM until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to Doug's family would be greatly appreciated.
