Obituary of Frank M Ventura

Frank M. Ventura, 93, of Mundelein, passed away Feb. 11, 2019 at Advocate Condell Med. Ctr. Libertyville. He was born Oct. 22, 1925 and was principal of Kipling School from 1960-1968. Frank retired from Chicago Public Schools in 1986 where he was Superintendent of District 8 schools. He had served as a paratrooper with the US Army during WW II.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy DeKnock; his children Theresa V. Larkin, Kathy Lastas and Charles Ventura and his granddaughter Carrie and great-grandson Ryan Paul Kious.

Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Thursday Feb. 14 with funeral services following at 11 at the Gurnee Community Church, 4555 Old Grand Ave, Gurnee followed by a luncheon in the Church Hall.
