Obituary of Barbara L Hermestroff

Barbara L. Hermestroff, nee Jahns, passed away peacefully in Libertyville Oct. 3, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born in Chicago and has been Libertyville resident and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church since 1959. Her life was devoted to the love and care of her family.

Barbara is survived by her beloved children Lesley (Bob) Magna, D.V. (Tracy) Hermestroff, and Patty (Tom) Paul; she was the proud grandmother of Bob (Allison), Jim (Lindsay) and Tom (Jillian) Magna, Dustin (Ruby) and Matt (Christeen) Hermestroff and Michelle, Sammie and Abby Paul; the dearest great-grandmother of Robbie, Maddox, Keira and Cody and the dear sister of Hank (Kathy) Jahns and Janice Sinkovec.

Barbara was preceded in death by her devoted husband Donald of 60 years of marriage.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Tuesday Oct. 9 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 East Maple Ave Libertyville. Private Entombment at Ascension Cemetery.

Visitation from 4-8 PM Monday Oct. 8 at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville (Rt. 176, 1 Blk. East of Milwaukee Ave).
