Obituary of Beverly Ann Schuett
Beverly Ann Schuett, 92 years old, formerly of Libertyville, IL passed away peacefully January 26, 2018 at her Brentwood North Healthcare residence in Deerfield, IL.
Beverly was born in Plano, IL on February 5, 1925, to Henry and Genevieve (Weber) Miller. Bev’s dad was transferred with his work, so Bev lived in several towns, both in Michigan and Illinois, ending up in Belvidere, IL. Beverly married her high school sweetheart, Bill Schuett, on October 30, 1943, while Bill was in the Navy. They returned to their hometown where they lived for a short time during which son Tom was born. The family then moved to Decatur, IL, where Bill started college at Millikin University and the family lived on-campus. Three years later a move was made to Hanover, IL where son Joe was born and Bill had his first teaching position. Future moves were made to Crete, IL where sons Bill and Rick were born, and then to Deerfield, IL. Deerfield remained their home until Bill ended his career as business manager of Deerfield and Highland Park high schools. Bev and Bill spent their retirement years in Libertyville, IL. Throughout their lives they were surrounded by a close circle of friends and family and were involved in many community and church activities.
In addition to her parents and beloved husband of seventy-three years, Bev was preceded in death by her son Joseph, father-in-law and mother in-law Albert and Emma (Mohllenbrink) Schuett, and brother-in-law and sister in-law Ralph and Mae Schuett.
Survivors include her loving sons Thomas (Bonnie) of Mundelein, IL, William (Linda) of Antioch,IL, Richard (Carleen) of Round Lake, IL, grandson Michael, granddaughters Laura, Teresa, Amanda, Katelyn and Emma, and great-granddaughter Collette.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Monday, February 12 at Grace Lutheran Church, 501 Valley Park Dr, Libertyville, IL, with visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Funeral info McMurrough Funeral Chapel (847) 362-2626 and libertyvillefuneralhome.com
