I especially enjoyed the conversations with Lorraine over the past few years. She was one of my favorite relatives of all time.
She had a good-natured spirit from a generation that I've come to appreciate and miss more and more as the years go by.
She had a boisterous, back-slapping sense of humor, quick wit that she'd sneak up on you, and that LAUGH of hers! I will never ever forget that laugh - It would fill up and light up the whole room. It was profoundly IMPOSSIBLE to resist the infectiousness of it. I actually tried to once or twice.
People that TRULY spread cheer, warmth and laughter are rare.

Laugh and the world will laugh with you, well, maybe not the world but most of Prairie View. Today, laughter seems impossible, smiling is tough as well. But, as we remember all the good times we had together we will smile again, and laugh too as we celebrate your life and times we spent with you. Thank you for all those laughs,

My dear Aunt Lorraine, how I will miss our talks, and most of all - your laughter. Rest in Peace and know that you were so loved and will be missed. God needed another angel with strong wings. We will laugh again one day. I love you Aunt Lorraine. Laura
