Hello Greg,
I'm hoping you remember me from all the good times we had in our youth at the Dog N'Suds across from Oak Creek High School along with Dan Dorn. I was so sorry to read of your dear wife's passing. I too lost my wife in 2012. I'm sure words can't make things much better for you and your family in this difficult time. I know I've been there and can attest to it. Don't be afraid to have some release by yourself. Your kids will help. It's gonna be difficult for a while. It was for me. I was married for 43 years too, so I think I know what's coming for you. I don't want to give you the old buck up junk. That's what everyone else is going to say. The thing I want to say to you is that it will get better, but loosing your best friend too, and I'm sure that was what she was, is tough too. I found it was good to get away for a bit. not too far, but a change of scenery helped me. So, from an old friend that used to raise a little hell with you, you have my sincere condolences. Please take care of yourself. Give me a text if you have some time in the future.
Your Friend
Dean

As a young girl living in South Milwaukee, I would walk down the alley from our Cherry St. home to the Thibaudeau house to play with Val and Marguerite. It was always a treat when the Yvonne, Clairese and Adele were home. They always welcomed me and made me feel at home in that "big house"
It was great to reconnect with Clairese when we were older, first thru our good friends Dave and Carol Eglsaer and then to see their beautiful home at Desert Mountain.
One of the first times I played golf with Clairese at Desert Mountain, we couldn't figure out where the "next hole" was located and got turned around on the golf course. I remember her art studio in her Arizona home and the beautiful setting she had to create her art.
She will be missed.

Dear Greg and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Clairese's death. I enjoyed her immensely as a friend and neighbor and, though we haven't been in touch much over the two years since Robin and I moved to Asheville, I missed her over those two years and I miss her so now. You were lucky to have such a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and aunt -- she was one of the warmest, kindest, nicest, most optimistic friends I have ever known. She's at peace now, but she's watching over all of you and loving you from her heavenly home.
