Virgil Anthony Anderson, 85, of Vernon Hills, passed away April 23, 2017 at his home. Virgil was born in Alabama and had been a Vernon Hills resident for more than 30 years. He was a retired bartender and enjoyed NASCAR, working on cars and doing yard work.
He is survived by his wife Sharon of more than 40 years of marriage; his son Steve; his daughter Juana (Gary) Patterson; his step-daughter Lisa (Richard) Breen; his grandchildren Dana Breen, Garrett Anderson and Christina Jenkins and his sister-in-law Corinne Anderson.
