Paul J. Dziak, Captain, U.S. Army retired, serving in World War II and Korea. Mr. Dziak, 94, of Libertyville passed away February 16, 2017. He was born in Cleveland, OH and had been a resident of Libertyville since 1968. Mr. Dziak was a chemist and had also served as plant manager for Johns Manville Corp. He was a member of St. Joseph parish and of the Knights of Columbus. Paul is survived by his children; Dr. Paula (Dr. Don) Steinker, Dr. Richard (Sue) Dziak, Pamela (Wayne) Randall and Dr. Robert (Julie) Dziak; his grandchildren Jennifer (Dr. Bryan) Waldo, Julie (Jon) Rolf, Eric (Jackie) Randall, Nick Randall, Johnathan (Emily, P.A.) Randall, Sophie Dziak and Tess Dziak and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane in 2015. Funeral Mass will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 24 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E. Maple, Libertyville. Interment Ascension Cemetery. Visitation Friday, February 24 from 10:00-11:15 a.m. at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place (Rte. 176, 1 block east of Milwaukee Ave).
