How shocked I was in hearing of Dan's demise. He was my "boss" while he was in Summit, NJ and then before moving to Long Grove, IL., he promoted me to Regional Claim Manager of the Pittsburgh office. I had such admiration for Dan. His life was taken too shortly. He should have had more time to enjoy his retirement and more time with his family and friends. He was such a loving and giving man - God was in him all the time. He had a way of telling you things that you may not have wanted to hear but he did it in such a way that you were glad that he told you. I am very sorry for all of you - especially Joanne. He spoke of his children often with me especially after I adopted a 10 year old daughter when I was 50 years old. He was very supportive and someone that I will never forget for his happy and good natured manner. All of you are in my prayers to go on with your lives and happy in all of the lives that he touched before his untimely death. God be with all you.
