Mariah's locker was right outside my classroom, so I saw her every morning; it was a great way to start my day. She would always come see me on Fridays, and we would work on student council updates. Her eyes portrayed an empathy that captured the world's pain, but her smile gave you faith that the world was a beautiful place. I miss you very much, kid.
