Martine Tischer, 81, longtime Lake County resident, passed away May 10,2016 surrounded by family. Martine was an entrepreneur, business woman, mother, sister and friend to many. She is fondly remembered for her many businesses: The Limousine Connection, Money Honey Patent and The Gold Connection. Prior to business ventures, she was a nurse at Edgewater and Swedish Covenant Hospitals. She loved flipping houses and creating things of beauty! In the 1950s she was a model, actress and dancer. She lived a full and exciting life. She will not be forgotten as she has made an impact on many! She did it her way and was successful.
Martine is survived by her brother Hillard Wallace of Kentucky and daughters Tina Lyons and Lorre Deppe of Wisconsin Dells.
Following Martine’s wishes, funeral services were held privately. Interment Vernon Cemetery, Lincolnshire. Funeral arrangements by McMurrough Funeral Chapel, Libertyville (847) 362-2626.
