LeAnn I. Johnson, nee Moran, 79, lifelong resident of Lake Bluff (Rondout) passed away May 17, 2016. In retirement LeAnn enjoyed caring for and being around wildlife in her yard being it either furry, 4 legged or feathered. She loved the occasional luncheons and dinners with friends and former classmates. LeAnn took enormous pleasure in the precious moments spent with her beloved daughter and grandson Jimmy. On the other hand, LeAnn possessed a wicked sense of humor that some did not understand.
She is survived by her beloved daughter Kathleen (William Boyd) Slater and her cherished grandson James Ryan Lefler.
LeAnn was preceded in death by her devoted husband Clifford Ray Johnson; her loving sons Charles Ray and Philip Lee Johnson and her dear brother Maynard Herman Seiler, Sr.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Sat. May 21 at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place (Rt 176, 1 Blk East of Milwaukee Ave) Libertyville. Interment Ascension Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 4 – 8 PM at the Funeral Chapel. If desired, memorial donations made to JourneyCare Hospice, 405 Lake Zurich Rd., Barrington, IL 60010 would be greatly appreciated.
