I worked for John at the Shell station back in the mid 70's. I was just a part time pump jockey, but John always treated me fairly and with respect, even when I messed things up. I credit John,along with his sons, with impressing upon me that if you are going to do something, take the time to do it right. This has helped me through out my working life and was even mentioned to me by my current boss just last week. If I asked John for his opinion about something, he always had time to talk and he always was able to explain his opinion so that I could use it to make my decision. I only ran into John occasionally since then, but he always took the time to talk with me. It's probably been over 25 years since I have seen him but I was truly saddened to hear of his passing. Jeff, Andy and family, I offer my condolences on your loss. Your father holds a special place in my heart. Dieter Weber
