I still miss my grandpa to this day. He was an amazing man who's presence filled a room. He had a wicked sense of humor and the best laugh in the world (this made him the best storyteller). Everyone who met him couldn't help but love him. He treated my brother and I amazing and I still remember all of the songs he taught us during road trips. I remember him sneaking us fruit snacks and taking us to Culver's. He and my grandma helped build my childhood into a magical experience. Some of my favorite memories are of him building us a snow fort during Christmas and also falling asleep on his chest while watching football. He was the best grandpa I could've asked for and I wish God had let him stay with us longer. He left us too soon.

I have so many memories of Mr. Boyle that it would probably take up my allotted space.
Mr. Boyle was larger-than-life and had a big impact on me. He was a great man that will be missed.
Our prayers go out to Mrs. Boyle, Kristan, and Kevin during this very difficult period.
God Speed, Big Jim.
Love,
Bill, Sangeeta, Meera, and Liam Walsh

My heart goes out to the family! Death is truly an enemy- one that God through Jesus Christ will soon eliminate (1 Corinthians 15:26). Click on the link for more comforting thoughts: http://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/dead-live-again-tract/

I am thankful to have had Jim in my life and feel blessed to be a part of the family. The Lord took an Angel home and now we all have an Angel looking over us! Hugs to all.

Geri, Kristan, and Kevin:
Sharon and I are very sorry for your loss; everyone's loss really, who knew Jim.
We regret we are unable to travel to Libertyville for Jim's Visitation, Funeral Mass, and Military Honors, but will be there in thought and spirit to the very best of our ability.
As Marines, Jim and I served together for several months in Viet Nam in 1967. We had some tough fights, but thanks to Jim and his well trained, highly accomplished "All Irish Forward Observer Team" we survived with few casualties while accomplishing every mission assigned to us. Jim and I were essentially joined at the hip in those days, and became friends as well as compatriots. His wry sense of humor was often the perfect antidote to the stress of combat. And Jim really did earn and deserve the self appointed and anointed sobriquet "WOGFO"! He was the very best.
Sharon and I remember well our visit to the Boyle home on Thornapple for a delicious brunch with the "All Irish FO Team" some years ago. Geri and Jim's wonderful hospitality, Michael Walsh's gentlemanly flourishes, and Pat Daley's "judicious" presence made for a memorable occasion.
Fond thoughts of Jim and his service to his country and fellow citizens will flourish in our memories, and our prayers will continue to be with all of you.
God Bless,
Burrell & Sharon
