I so wish I could be with you today. I will always remember Uncle Donny's easy smile. I used to sneak over to Aunt Barb's and Uncle Donny's when I was a kid. Aunt Barb always had cookies or some kind of candy and Uncle Donny would always want to sit and chat. Honestly, I couldn't tell you what we talked about but I can tell you how he made me feel, welcomed and wanted. He was never too busy to talk and he was always genuinely interested in what a snotty little kid like me had to say. The greatest gift you can give someone is your time and attention. That's what I learned from Uncle Donny. I am wishing you all comfort during this very difficult time. All my love goes to Aunt Barb, DV, and Tracy, Dust, Ruby and kids, Matt, Patty and Tom and kids, Leslie and Bobby and kids and all the many other family members that will surely be worse off without Uncle Donny.
