James C. Hoult, 91, of Libertyville, WWII Army Veteran, passed away July 20, 2015. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI and was raised in Wadsworth, IL on the family chicken farm. James graduated Warren High School and following that enlisted in the US Army. He served overseas and was wounded while serving in New Guinea for which he was awarded the Purple Heart Medal. Following WWII, James became an accountant. His hobbies included golf, bowling and gardening on his beloved forested Libertyville home site.
He is survived by his daughter Rebecca (Richard) Blake; his grandsons Michael (Gretchen) Blake and Daniel (Stephanie) Blake and his twin great-granddaughters Zoe and Elise.
James was preceded in death by his wife Audrey and his son Robert.
Funeral services will be 7:00 pm Thursday July 23 at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place (Rt. 176, 1 Block East of Milwaukee Ave) Libertyville where his family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until time of services.
