Kathleen Kuehlhorn (nee Bosshart) 69 of Gurnee passed away April 23, 2015. She resided in Gurnee for the past 7 years and was a resident of Lake County since 2000. Born in Chicago in 1945 to Al and Elizabeth (Simon) Bosshart. Kathleen graduated from Alvernia High School and Loyola University in Chicago. She was a sweet friendly person who courageously battled Schizophrenia for the past 25 years.
Kathleen is survived by her daughter Michelle; brother Robert (Catherine) Bosshart; Aunt of Mary Beth (Bill) Hackel, Michael (Lori) Bosshart and John (Julie) Bosshart. She was “Aunt Kathy” to six of her great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation Sunday April 26 from 3 – 7 pm at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place (Rt 176, 1 Block East of Milwaukee Ave) Libertyville and Monday April 27 from 9:30 – 10:00 am at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6401 Gages Lake Rd, Gurnee. Funeral Mass Monday at 10:30 am at St. Paul the Apostle. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Independence Center (Mental Health Service) 2025 Washington St, Waukegan, IL 60085. Funeral information (847) 362-2626.
