Bernard John Rutkowski, 66, of Vernon Hills died November 4, 2012 at Lovell VAMC, North Chicago, IL. Bernard was born February 10, 1946 in Chicago and had been a long time resident of Vernon Hills.
Bernard served with distinction with the US Marine Corps in Vietnam from 1964-1966.
He is survived by his daughter Doreen and his son Bernard.
Funeral services with full military honors following will be at 1:00 PM Thursday November 8th in the chapel of Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. Entombment will be at Ascension Mausoleum.
