Obituary of Edward F Krase

Edward F. Krase Sr., of Fox Lake, 78, passed away Sept. 20, 2014, at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. Mr. Krase was born in Medford, WI, and had been a lifelong resident of the Lake County area. He had retired from Hough Co./ International Harvester/Dresser Industries of Libertyville. Ed will always be remembered as an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He is survived by his wife, Carol (nee Wells); his children, Janice Krase, Edward Krase Jr., Deborah (Danny) Best and Theresa McNally; his grandchildren, Ryne McNally and Paige (Kyle) Smith; his great-grandchildren, Aubrie and Mallory Smith; his loyal Packer buddy, “Bimbo”; and his brothers and sister, Ray (Darlene) Krase, Barbara Populorum and Marvin (Kathy) Krase. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joann; and his parents, Marvin and Marie Krase. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place (Rt. 176, 1 block east of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville. Interment in Willow Lawn Cemetery, Vernon Hills. Visitation Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m., at the funeral chapel.
