Mary C. Fuchs (nee Holyoke) 81 of Libertyville passed away March 8, 2014 in Libertyville. Mary was born in 1932 in Milwaukee, WI and had been a resident of Libertyville since 1960. She retired as a personal banker for both American National Bank of Libertyville and Libertyville Bank and Trust. She had worked in the accounting department at Sears of Hawthorn Center in its early years and was a dedicated member of Curves of Libertyville. She and her husband were active in Friendship Force International taking into their home numerous people from other countries.
She is survived by her beloved husband John of almost 60 years of marriage; her loving children Amy (Dennis) Heidner, Sharon (Pete) Gray and Nancy (Tom) Griffiths; Mary was the proud grandmother of Cathy, Liz, Meghan, Brian and Ben; and the loving sister of Tom (Ruth) Holyoke, Jim Holyoke and the late Jack (the late Fran), Catherine (the late George), Cale (the late Tippy) and Pete (the late Mary Ann) Holyoke.
Visitation will be held Saturday March 15 from 1 - 4 pm at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place Libertyville (Rt 176, 1 Block East of Milwaukee Ave.) with funeral services at 3:00 pm Rev. Fran Bates officiating. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery, Sheboygan, WI. Memorial donations to Habitat for Humanity www.habitat.org would be greatly appreciated.
