Peter C. Holyoke 84 passed away Feb. 9, 2014. Mr. Holyoke was born in WI and had been a resident of this area for the past 40 years. He was a graduate of Riverside High School Milwaukee where he excelled in various sports. He served with the US Army and later graduated the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He served as a Trust officer for Northern Trust and following that became the proprietor of Sterling Account Service.
He is survived by his devoted daughter Karen Holyoke and his dearest brothers Tom (Ruth), Jim (Hannah) and sister Mary (John) Fuchs. Peter was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Ann of 47 years of marriage, his brothers Jack & Caleb and his sister Catherine.
Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday Feb 15 at St. Lawrence Episcopal Church, 125 West Church St, Libertyville where the family will meet friends from 10:30 until the time of service. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Buffalo Grove. If desired memorial donations made to the Leukemia Research Foundation, 3520 Lake Ave, Wilmette, IL 60091 or a blood donation to your local blood bank would be greatly appreciated.
