Obituary of Patricia Kondor

Patricia Kondor nee Hrkach 58 of Libertyville, IL passed away peacefully in her home Feb 2, 2014 surrounded by her many angels here on earth. She is now with the angels in heaven, walking once again through the fields of daisies. Patti lived her life to the fullest and met every challenge with determination and optimism in her courageous battle with cancer. Patti was a member of the PEO, the Lake County (IL) Center for Independent Living board of directors, the Advocate Condell Hospital Auxiliary, St. Joseph CRHP retreat group, Disability Advocates, Community Bible Study, Mental Health Advocates and was a board member of the Riva Ridge Home Owners assn. Patti could be seen exercising at the Center Club 5 to 6 times per week. She was born in Bethlehem, PA where she graduated from Liberty High School, received her Associate Degree in Child Development from Northampton County Community College, was Pre-school Director at the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, PA and had received her Associate Degree in Accounting from the College of Lake County. She was the loving mother of Douglas Kondor, the beloved daughter of Nancy (nee James) and the late Frank Hrkach, the cherished sister of Frank (Betty) Hrkach, John (Susan) Hrkach, Susan (Mark) Gradney, Ann Hrkach Oldham and the proud aunt of many. Funeral Mass will be 10am Friday Feb. 7 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E Maple Ave, Libertyville. Interment Lakeside Cemetery, Libertyville. Visitation Thursday Feb. 6 from 4 - 8 pm at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville (Rt 176, 1 Block East of Milwaukee Ave).
