Chris, you were one of the four "best" friends of Stan. It was always fun when we went out and eat with you and Ressie, in IHOP and Wonton Gourmet.
Your friendship meant so much to Stan and me. Now, you have gone home to the Lord. You will be missed, honored, loved, anr remembered always.
Rest in peace, our friend.

My husband and I were very fortunate to get to know Chris. Everytime we met we learned something new about his very interesting life. We will never forget the great stories he told us about his serving in Iraq and the history lessons he gave us. His Subway stories were full of business lessons and it was fun to listen to them. We connected over our love of traveling with Chris and Ressie and they taught us a lot about the world. What a warm, compassionate, and smart man who always had a smile on his face. We will miss you here on Earth and I am living with the confident hope that we will meet again in heaven.

Tito Chris was a wonderful uncle whom I began to have written exchanges with and gotten to know in the early 2000’s from a distance since I live in the Philippines. We would exchange simple kumustahan emails at first where I would tell him about my family and work and where he also shared about his life in the America. When I was able to visit Chicago in 2017 it was a unique and wonderful chance for me to get closer to all my family living there. Tito Chris and Tita Ressie hosted a few days of my stay and brought me around the iconic places in Chicago. They brought me to the museums and parks which I enjoyed immensely. I will never forget the exhiliration I felt riding a Mercedes top down Tito Chris drove when he picked me up from the O’hare airport. He was full of life, enjoyed cooking, and was such a loving husband and father to my cousins whom he told many stories to me about. I will miss you dearly Tito Chris, I wish there were more chances to get together with you again.
Together with Marvin and our children I continue to pray for the repose of his soul, and that heaven will welcome him foremost with my dad and other siblings and his parents by the door. I would also like to offer prayers of comfort and strength for my Tita Ressie andy cousins Jen, Phil and Mel.
