Obituary of Nonie Padaoan

Mignon “Nonie” Quiazon Padaoan, passed on October 17th, 2024 at the age of 67. She was born on May 26, 1957 in Angeles, Philippines to her parents Graciano R. Quiazon and Juanita S. David. She will be best remembered for her devout passion to her faith and spirituality. She graduated with her Nursing degree from the Holy Angel University, Angeles, Philippines, and Pines City Doctors Hospital School of Nursing, Baguio City, Philippines. She continued her career in the hospitality and medical fields while raising her family. The highlights of her career include working at Rosalind Franklin University for over 15 years collaborating with providers and medical students and over 20 years at the private medical practice with Dr. Antonio Chua-Lee. Her presence was always accompanied by her infectious laugh and smile.

        Nonie is survived by four sons Vince (Summer), Raynier (Shannon), Justin, and Francis “Koi”; two grand-children Lucius and Jeremiah; and two brothers David (Celeste) and Noel (Dol). She is preceded in death by her parents Graciano and Juanita, and brother Verne (survived by Annabelle).

Funeral service will be held Friday October 25, 2024 9:00am-10:00am at McMurrough Funeral Chapel 101 Park Pl, Libertyville, IL 60048. Mass will immediately follow  10:00am-11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church 121 E. Maple Ave, Libertyville, IL 60048.
