As a neighbor and friend of the Paderas through the 1970's, I came to know the soft and gentle heart of Eileen. She and Bob were, in my mind, the epitome of neighbor and parent. My relation resumed in the 2000's at the Centre Club where Eileen fought against the ravages of age, as we all do. She and Bob were inspirations to me and many for the value of self-care and a well-lived life. She will be missed. My prayers go especially to Bob.

Q: What will you never forget about Eileen?
A: I will always remember how kind and patient Auntie Eileen was with us as kids when we would visit. She modeled what we aspire to be as parents and as children of God. She truly was an angel.
Eileen’s spirit lives on as we miss her. God bless, and prayers for peace and comfort to our entire family.

To the entire Padera family, I send you my condolences for your loss. I was happy to spend some time with you both (Mr. and Mrs. Padera) at my mothers service in June as I appreciated your time and effort to attend. My mother was very lucky to call you friends, as we too enjoyed our childhood in Libertyville being neighbors with the entire Padera family. I hope this finds you all well during this difficult time.
