Obituary of Winfield L. VerDow
Winfield “Win” VerDow, JR., 70 passed away Monday, 25 March 2024 in Lake Forest, IL. A native of Lafayette NY. Winfield attended Lafayette High School, class of 1972.Winfield was a Navy veteran. He received his BS Degree from the State University of NY. He worked for the Small Business Administration in Washington, DC until he retired. He moved to Illinois in 1996.
He is preceded in death by his parents Winfield and Jean VerDow.
Surviving is his sister Connie VerDow of Onondaga Hill, NY; several cousins and close family friends Sally & Jerry Powell & family of Grayslake, IL.
Graveside Military service and burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Libertyville, IL. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to your local hospital burn unit in Win’s name. Funeral arrangements by McMurrough Funeral Chapel, Libertyville (847) 362-2626
