Obituary of Peter Vole, Jr.
Peter Vole, Jr. 84, a lifelong Lake County resident, passed away Dec. 25, 2023 at Condell Med. Ctr. Pete exemplified unwavering dedication and resilience, never shying away from any challenge that came his way. He never hesitated to help those in need and always prioritized the well-being of his family above all else. He would think things through to the end. Pete may have tried to hide it, but he had a big heart. His absence leaves a significant void, he will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have him touch their lives.
Pete is survived by his children Peter III (Kim), Dolores “Dolly” Anne Marie (Robert Grady), Robert (Katie), Anthonio (Emily), and Tiffany; his grandchildren Laci (Roger III) Laird, Peter IV, Kristi, Isabella, Robert Jr., Liam, Max, Anthonio Jr., Emilia and Viviana; his great-grandson Roger IV; his brother Gregory “Sonny” (the late Candy) and many nieces and nephews.
Pete is preceded in death by his siblings Polly (Donald) Darby; Dolores (Ben) Segalla and Ernie (Julie).
Visitation will be held on from 4-8 pm on Wed. Jan 3rd and from 4-8 pm Thurs. Jan 4th at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 on Fri. Jan 5th at St. Mary of Vernon Catholic Church, 236 US-45, Indian Creek, prayer service will held at McMurrough Chapel from 9:30 - 10:00 am on Friday. Entombment All Saints Mausoleum to follow Mass.
