Obituary of John Patrick Droppleman

John Patrick Droppleman, formerly of West Virginia, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 26, 2023 at the age of 79.

Beloved Husband of 17 years to Denise Droppleman. Devoted Father to Patrick (Erin) Droppleman, Michael (Amanda) Droppleman, Alison Culwell, Chelsie Lukens, and Daniele (Matthew) Mustain. Cherished Grandfather to Henry, Oliver, Avery, Isabella, and Katherine. Dear Brother to Terry McKiernan. Uncle and friend to many.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Margaret Droppleman, and brother, Chris Droppleman.

Pat was a lifelong golfer and successful businessman, leaving behind a legacy of love and inspiration. Above all, he most enjoyed being an amazing Father, Grandfather, and Itachi.

Visitation for Pat will be held Friday, August 11, 2023 from

4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville, Illinois.

Funeral Mass to follow on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 10 a.m. at 

St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 East Maple Avenue, Libertyville, Illinois. Funeral Mass to be livestreamed, CLICK TO LINK TO LIVESTREAM

Luncheon immediately following until 2 p.m. at Mickey Finn’s Brewery, 345 North Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville, Illinois.

Interment and Graveside Ceremony will take place Friday, August 18, 2023 at 10 a.m. at the Conejo Mountain Memorial Park, 2052 Howard Road, Camarillo, California.

Luncheon to follow from 11:30 a.m to  2 p.m. at Las Posas Country Club, 955 Fairway Drive, Camarillo, California. 

A celebration of life in West Virginia to be announced.
