Obituary of Connor J Leden

Connor Leden, 25, of Libertyville passed away unexpectantly on Saturday June 24, 2023. Connor graduated from Warren High School class of 2016 and received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Lake Forest College in 2022. Connor was a financial analyst for Northern Trust. Outside of work; he loved reading, hammocking, building elaborate Lego sets, tacos, history, the financial market, Phantom Lake, and helping others with anything.  

Connor leaves behind his parents Brian and Cindy, his brother Evan, his girlfriend Amanda, grandparents Al and Sharon Schabacker, uncles Mike (Tracy) Schabacker, Matt (Danielle) Schabacker, Gary Leden, aunt Emily (Dan) Smeltzer and cousins Daniel, Jason, Meredith and Malcolm Smeltzer.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 am until the funeral service at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 1st at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1151 N St Marys Rd, Libertyville. Interment will be private at a later date.

Connor once told us that there is a Hawaiian shirt for every occasion, so if you plan to celebrate his life with us, please consider that or wearing brighter colors.

In lieu of flowers or the money that you might want to spend on them, please consider sending us a donation which we’ll use to honor Connor’s life and passions which include Phantom Lake YMCA Camp and Bernie’s Book Bank.
