Obituary of Ralph Pomierski

Ralph C Pomierski of Libertyville and formerly of Mundelein passed away Sept 26, 2013 in Libertyville. Ralph was born December 14, 1925 to Alex and Hattie Pomierski in Chicago. He proudly served the US Navy during World War II as Pharmacist Mate assisting burn victims. In 1958 his brother and he started their own dental practice in Mundelein where Ralph worked until he retired in 1990. Ralph was generous with time and talents by regularly volunteering at Mount St. Joseph's in Lake Zurich. He enjoyed sailing the open waters and loved watching his grandchildren play sports attending many events. Ralph is preceded in death by his cherished wife Blanche of 35 years of marriage; his brother Al and sister-in-law Shirley. Ralph is survived by his loving children Barb (Chris) Pinahs and Bill (Linda); his much adored grandchildren Daniel (Ava), Justine, Brianne and Matthew; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass for Ralph will be held Saturday September 28, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E Maple Ave, Libertyville. Visitation will be held Sat. Sept 28 from 8:30-9:30 at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville. Entombment following at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
