Obituary of Eileen C Grace
Eileen C. Grace, of Libertyville, went home with Jesus on January 29, 2023 at 97 years young. The guiding lights of her loving and happy life were her love of God and her gift of faith. She dearly loved our dad, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many wonderful friends. She traveled with family far and wide across America, into Canada, to many wonderful places in Europe (including a blessed trip to Ireland with dad, and an audience with Pope John Paul II at the Vatican) and she even walked the Holy Land. Her joy was always being with family to celebrate so many birthdays, graduations, holidays, vacations and especially the Catholic sacraments. She fondly remembers attending Eucharistic Adoration every Sunday afternoon with her dad and she loved to go to Mass.
Eileen is survived by her children Meg (Jim) Hamilton, Kathy (Tom) Miller, Tom (Barbara Jo) Grace, Margie (Joe) Kizaur, Bernie Grace and Annie Boehmer. Her beloved grandchildren are Beth Lindstrom, Debbie (Ed) Kloczkowski, Jimmy (Sara) Hamilton, Molly Hamilton (engaged to Chris Evans), Monica (Ryan) Lewis, Maureen (Rob) Pritchard, Patrick (Erin) Grace, Jana Grace, Michelle (Rikki) Srivastava, Dan (Lauren) Kizaur, Andrew Kizaur, Jacob Kizaur, David (Hailey) Boehmer, and Brian (Kaci) Boehmer and by her precious great-grandchildren Elin, Nora and Adam Lindstrom, Joanna and Isaiah Kloczkowski, Claudia and Bridget Hamilton, Rebecca and Tommy Lewis, Michael, Maura, Mark and Margaret Grace, Kelvyn, Rowan and Delaney Kizaur and Leena Srivastava.
Thirty-five years a widow, Eileen is now reunited with her beloved husband Thomas E. Grace, their beautiful daughter Eileen D. Grace, their loving son-in-law Greg A. Boehmer and a precious great-granddaughter Mini Pritchard as well as other precious angel-babies. She was also preceded in death by her loving parents William and Ellen Dempsey, her brothers Bill (Peg) Dempsey, Dan Dempsey, Jer Dempsey and Fr. Bernard Dempsey (ordained to the priesthood in 1946), and her beloved sister Margaret Dempsey, as well as, many cousins and many wonderful lifelong friends.
